Q.1 自由に自己紹介してください！

はじめまして！

ID26、1年生の権田梨心です。

富山県出身で、趣味は読書と音楽を聴くこと。

あとは高校で音楽系の部活に入っていたのでギターを練習することも好きです。

まだ1年生なので、どのメジャーを取りたいとか、ICUでどんな勉強をしていきたいのかは具体的に決まっていませんが、勉強もサークル活動もそれ以外の日常生活も含めて、新しいことにいろいろ挑戦して、日々を充実させていきたいです。後から振り返った時に後悔しないよう、大学生活を精一杯楽しんでいきたいと思います！

Hello!

I’m Riko Gonda, and I’m a first-year student at ICU.

I am originally from Toyama prefecture, and my hobby is reading and listening to music.

I was a member of a music club when I was in high school, so I also enjoy practicing the guitar in my free time.

I am still unsure which major to take or what exactly I want to study at ICU, but I would like to try new things, including my studies and club activities, and so on, and brighten up my everyday life as much as I can. I hope that I will enjoy my college life fully so that I won’t regret it when I look back at it in the future.

Q.2 ICONfrontに興味を持ったきっかけは何ですか？

大学に入学して「どのサークルに入ろうかなー」といろいろ悩んでいた時に、説明会でICONfrontに出会って、直観的に「これだ！」と思いました。もともとメディアに興味があって、自分でもインタビューや記事の執筆をしてみたいなと思っていたので、ICONfrontの活動にとても魅力を感じました。

最終的には実際に個別相談会などで活動についてのお話を聞いた時、先輩方の楽しそうに活動している雰囲気と、出会った人との温かい繋がりを大切にしている感じが伝わってきて惹かれたのが大きかったです！

What interested in being a part of ICONfront? 

When I was wondering which club to enter, I heard about ICONfront at the club orientation and I immediately thought intuitively, “this is it!”

I am interested in media, and I have wanted to try interviewing people and writing articles based on those interviews myself. Therefore, I strongly felt that I could do what I truly wanted to do if I joined this club.

There were many reasons why I thought ICONfront was attractive. Still, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the senpai members and how they treasured the bond they had created through ICONfront’s activities was the biggest reason I joined in the end.  

Q.3 ICUで頑張りたいことはなんですか？

私はICUでの４年間で、自分が一生を通して情熱を注げる何かを見つけたいなと思っています。今まで興味のある分野がいろいろありすぎて、自分は一体何に興味があるのか、そもそも何がしたいのか、自分自身の興味関心のことなのに全く分かっていませんでした。

好奇心があらゆる方面に向いているのは良いことかもしれないけれど、せっかくICUに入学したので、リベラルアーツというこの学校の特色を生かして、様々なことに挑戦しながら自分の熱中できることや、取り組んでいきたい問題を少しずつ見つけていきたいと思います。

　What are you looking forward to doing at ICU?

During my four years in ICU, I want to find something special for me that I can truly put all my passion into. I am interested in many things, but I am always not sure what I am actually interested in, or to say more, what exactly I am aiming to do.

Perhaps it is a good thing to have curiosity about many different things. However, because I have entered ICU and have the opportunity to learn in liberal arts, I would like to challenge myself to learn new things and find something that I truly want to pour all my passion into at my own pace.

Q.4 ICONfront ではどんなことをやりたいですか？

インタビューはもちろん、記事を書いたり、Podcastを配信したりと、ICONfrontが行っている様々な活動に積極的に参加したいです！

実際にICONfrontのサイトを見たとき、読者がアクティビストの活動を身近に感じられるような記事で純粋に素敵だなと感動し、自分もあんな風に読者を惹きつけらるような何かを発信できるようになりたいなと思いました。

誰かにインタビューをするのも、記事を書くのも今まであまりやったことがなくて、自分にとっては初めての挑戦でドキドキなのですが、ICONfrontのメンバーとして自分にできることを自分なりに、精一杯やりきりたいと思います！

What do you want to do in ICONfront?

I want to participate actively as a member of the ICONfront and take part in not just interviewing but also in things like writing articles and broadcasting Podcasts.

When I actually saw the website of the ICONfront, I felt that all the articles posted there were always written in a way that the readers could feel the activists actually existed close to them, and I dreamed of becoming a person who could deliver something that will attract the reader effectively one day.

I have never actually interviewed people or written an article for something before, and I’m a little worried if I could actually do it. However, I would like to try my very best and participate in everything I can do as a member of the ICONfront!

Q.5 あなたの”icon”は？

特定の人はいませんが、やはり自分の身近にいる家族や友人から影響を受けることは本当に多いなと感じます。どんな時でも自分を応援してくれたり、励ましてくれたりする家族の存在は日々の生活の中で心の支えになってるし、自分にはない長所をたくさん持っている友人達にはいつもいい刺激を貰っています。

そういった素敵な人たちが私の周りにたくさんいてくれるからこそ、自分も頑張ろうと思えるし、逆にその人たちの力に少しでもなりたくて、成長しようと努力して挑戦し続けられるんだと思います。

これからも、私を支えてくれる家族や友人を大切にしていくと共に、ICUでも私にとっての”icon”となる人に出会えたらいいなと思っています。

そして、私自身も誰かの”icon”になれるよう、これから成長していきたいです。

What/who is your “icon”? 

I don’t have a specific person as an icon, but I constantly feel that I am hugely influenced by my friends and families. All of my friends have some fascinating talents that influence me positively, and I also appreciate the warm support from my family that brightens up my everyday life. 

With the great support from those wonderful people around me, I feel that I should try my very best at everything. In addition, I can keep on challenging myself to become a better person to give back everything I received and support them when they need me. As well as treasuring all this relationship with my precious friends and family forever, I hope that I will be able to meet someone who will become my “icon” at ICU. Also, I would like to keep on challenging myself with new tasks to become an “icon” for someone myself one day.
